The goal of Emergency Management is to prepare the city to respond to, recover from, and mitigate against natural and man-made emergencies and disasters. Emergency Management works with local, state, and federal government partners, as well as non-governmental organizations to achieve this goal. Emergency Management conducts exercises to test and continuously revise the city's Emergency Operations Plan.
