The City of Lexington and Threshold Housing Commission are seeking public input on a proposed city-wide housing conditions windshield survey and needs assessment. The City intends to apply for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Planning Grant funds through the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development to source the proposed project.
Threshold Housing Commission will hold a public input meeting on Wednesday, August 23rd at 5pm. The meeting will be held in the City Hall 2nd Floor Meeting Room, 300 E. Washington Street.
At the meeting, Threshold Housing Commission along with the Central Shenandoah Planning District Commission will provide an overview of the proposed CDBG Planning Grant as well as potential future activities related to housing conditions in the City. The meeting will serve as a forum for the public to address any concerns related to the proposed project and share feedback on housing-related needs in Lexington.
