Emergency Management

The goal of Emergency Management is to prepare the city to respond to, recover from, and mitigate against natural and man-made emergencies and disasters. Emergency Management works with local, state, and federal government partners, as well as non-governmental organizations to achieve this goal. Emergency Management conducts exercises to test and continuously revise the city's Emergency Operations Plan.

More emergency management information will be forthcoming. The updated regional Emergency Operations Plan was adopted February 7, 2019. The state's 2012 Emergency Operations Plan is also available for viewing.
