UPDATE: Voter registration deadline for the June 9th Primary is May 18, 2020. Registration applications can be completed online at the Virginia Department of Elections website. Registration applications can also be requested from Lexington Registrar's office. Voters are encouraged to complete absentee applications for the June 9th Republican Primary and the November 3rd General Election online so that ballots can be mailed to them. Absentee applications can be requested directly from the VA Department of Elections or the Lexington Registrar's office. There will be no in-person absentee voting in the Registrar's office for the June 9th Primary- all absentee voting will be by mail. The Registrar's office will be staffed during this time and will respond to phone calls (540-462-3706), email (email@example.com) and faxes (540-463-5310) on a daily basis.
